Release + Receive:: A Winter Solstice Tea and Meditation Celebration| December 21st

At Winter Solstice, the sun is closest to the earth and at its lowest point in the sky, underneath the earth at noon. This is the shortest day and longest night of the year.
Winter Solstice is the peak of the power of darkness – an opportunity for resting, dreaming and conceiving new life. A time that asks us to send our energy downward. Underground. Into our roots. To tap into the wealth of nutrients and healing that lay beneath the surface.

It is also the celebration of the returning light, for now, the days grow longer, a little bit more each day.

JOIN US: December 21st from 7-9pm
In a community gathering to celebrate the Solstice and the winter season in the northern hemisphere. We will invoke sacred space with the beautiful ceremony of tea, candle-lighting, meditation, and journaling.
Rest, dream, and connect in the safety of deep darkness as you conceive the authentic spark of your own unique light and life and call forth the inner gifts you wish to rebirth in the spring. We’ll take you on a meditative journey within.

The beautiful ritual of tea will be shared by the lovely Katherine Spath. Tea is an altogether beautiful and nourishing practice that facilitates meditation and the act of going inward.
It is also a moment to share with others and create new bonds by gathering together to celebrate the ritualistic value of each cup together. Together we will find our way into some personal time and space with tea and the ritual of tea through ceremony.

Anne of Milk and Honey Wellness will guide us through a Release and Receive meditation. Acknowledging our shadow teachers and surrendering the patterns that are no longer serving us, and opening our hearts to give and receive love. As you move deeper into your own sacred darkness, we will meditate upon what we would like to let go of and release. Get quiet. Listen intently. What is asking to be healed? What are you through carrying around? What has run its course? Together we will call forth the essence of love and harmony to create abundance and creativity in the new year.
